Dr. Chowdhury is a board certified psychiatrist and is the Chief Psychiatrist at Feel Light rTMS.
Dr. Chowdhury, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Chowdhury is a board-certified psychiatrist and is the Chief Psychiatrist at Feel Light rTMS. Dr. Chowdhury completed his medical degree from the University of Calgary and then completed his psychiatry residency program at the University of British Columbia before completing a geriatric psychiatry fellowship at the University of Alberta.
His keen interest and expertise in neurostimulation led him to his roles as Medical Director of the rTMS clinic at the Mood Disorders Association in Vancouver and helping run the Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) program at a tertiary hospital in the Vancouver metropolitan area. Dr. Chowdhury is also involved in psychedelic-assisted therapy and related research.
Aziza Makboul
Executive Director of Communications and Patient Quality Care
Aziza is the Executive Director of Communications and Patient Quality Care at Feel Light rTMS. She has a bachelor’s degree from the Telfer School of Business at the University of Ottawa and has extensive experience in the creative field. She has a strong interest in mental health and is passionate about quality improvement especially related to patient experience.
Khayam Khan
Head technologist and clinic manager at Feel Light rTMS. As a highly motivated technologist, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the clinic. In addition to his technical skills, Khayam is a strong collaborator and can build and maintain relationships with colleagues and patients. He is committed to lifelong learning and constantly seeking opportunities to expand his knowledge and skills. Khayam’s goals are to improve his skills and meticulously deliver optimal patient care. At the clinic, he is working to create a healing space where patients feel safe and heard.
Dr. David D’Souza MD, CCFP, IPS
David D’Souza is a Chronic Pain Specialist licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). He also specializes in Pain and Addictions Medicine.
Dr. D’Souza acquired his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Ottawa and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Queen’s University.
As a recognized instructor with CPSO, Dr. David D’Souza has trained many physicians in the field of Pain Management and Addictions Medicine.
Dr. Aziz Qazi BSc, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Qazi is a diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist. He completed medical school at the University of Calgary in 2013 followed by a 5-year residency in diagnostic imaging at the University of Toronto. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University Health Network in 2019.
Dr. Qazi has received numerous awards throughout his training and is focused on providing high quality pain intervention for his patients.
Dr. Subhra Mohapatra MD, CCFP(PC), IPS
Dr. Subhra Mohaptra is a Chronic Pain and Interventional Specialist. He focuses on pain management and acute, subacute, and chronic pain support.
Dr. Mohapatra completed his Bachelor of Integrated Science at Carleton University, with a minor in Psychology. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Ottawa and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Queen’s University.
Dr. Mohapatra also works in Palliative Care, and Addictions Medicine.
